At the midnight hour inspiration hit. I wanted to spice up the monk before he left for his proper owner. Originally the Scourge of Suderham were to be painted the way they looked on front cover of the original module, but I also was allowed to embellish on areas not seen on the front page. So I powered him up with some iron fist tattoo markings and kick that now looks like it would blow you in half.
With a name like Mordramma, he sounds like he would have been a fun npc character. Added a blue stone to his chest and the yellow design marking on his head. This character looked like it was sculpted the least correct of all of the models. I also had to use a generous amount of putty for his spell which was not matching up to his wrist and staying flush to the ground. Also it is sculpted more vertical looking on the box. So I am thinking the box artist did some embellishment of his/her own to get it to work for their picture.
Painted these probably a year or more ago. I haven't painted much from Games Workshop. They looked pretty awesome on my gaming table for a while. Portals for Everblight. In the end I had to relinquish to my friend who commissioned them.
Painted this historic mini for my dad for fathers day a couple of years ago.
