A bushido miniature of which the sword he is holding just appears too short. I will most likely bury the tip into the ground/mud/snow...ect, to hide this and give the illusion of a normal length. There was nothing left on the sprue, so not sure why it looks like that. Otherwise I am impressed with the pose and the detail of the sculpt. Very cool.
I almost feel like I am running out of color scheme ideas for these bushido guys, but one simple set of colors has been floating around in my head since day one. Decided to go with a classic Black and White and it has been anything but simple. No gray wash, something more stylized. I think this way just works better for me when dealing with so much white.
The handles will eventually be black and yellow, like a bumblebee. More white seems like the logical choice for his leggings/socks, but not sure about the other colors yet.
Most of my base colors are finished, added some washes on the bags and sword. Thought I was going to be done this weekend, but turned out to being very busy. Not much more left to go.
Finished him a couple of nights ago. Friend told me the sword was supposed to be like that, so I didn't stick it into the mud. :) He has a classic feel to him that I like.
